first few days

Made it successfully to DC (obviously).  Am kind of halfway unpacked... though I should iron my shirts for work. In case you actually care I am still working on CRISM stuff this summer.  Basically creating a reference library of IR spectra for various minerals on Mars so that way scientists have something to compare theirs to.  Thankfully I don't have to create the website.

Don't really know why I am posting right now anyways. Other than to torment eric.  >:)

Made fried chicken for dinner, and took the long way home from work to stop by the awesome bakery called Bonaparte Breads.  So delicious.  Or dericious as Eric might say.  The first thing is a palmier, it was good, but I can make better.  Though I dont normally make them the size of my hand.

And this piece of deliciousness is a chocolate almond croissant.  And they are kind of like a slice of heaven.  Theoretically it will be breakfast tomorrow, but I am having trouble not eating it now.  The problem with eating it now is that the bakery doesn't open before work tomorrow.  (also they are hiring, I was really tempted to see if I could get a second job this summer)

I think thats it.  The food photos are up, which was what was important.

  1. Rawr...stop tempting me with things! You are a bad influence--now I want to bake. And make lots of food. First step: go shopping. You're also making me want to post again. And so I am. Even if most of it will be "Hey look, I learned a new vocab word. Or 200" >.<
